Saltmarshe Hall is situated next to the picturesque river Ouse near Howden, East Yorkshire and is only a short dive from Hull, York, Leeds and Doncaster. The stunning building is a Georgian grade 2 listed hall with over 17 acres of parkland for outdoor or indoor wedding ceremonies. Lovingly restored in 2012 to hold weddings/events, the grand hall has a touch of elegance with over 14 luxury rooms which is the perfect setting for your dream wedding and will raise above your expectations.
DJ Andy Waite hosted his first wedding DJ roadshow at the hall in November 2018 and was truly impressed with the building and its sophisticated decor, the only bad thing he noticed is the function room for the disco was quite small with no tables or seating which as a DJ is harder to create an atmosphere as no one can really rest in the function room and the bar was quite located far away in another room, so guests where constantly moving from room to room. But DJ Andy has a fantastic time entertaining the happy couple and all their guests plus he had superb feedback from the bride and groom.
All the staff at Saltmarshe Hall where very polite and helpful. Kate and Rolland have done a fantastic job of restoring this beautiful building and making it in to a successful business plus I also heard the food was divine too.
